August 2008 Recordings of 3396KHz and 4828 KHz. From Gweru Zimbabwe. Non-standard frequencies and no reports of other stations on them. Signal fades rapidly at sunrise with typical multipath effect. There sometimes seems to be a similar pattern, switching on or off simultaneously. The audio, usually African music, is often heard during the night but I have only once heard the word "Zimbabwe" I also include recordings of RSG, Meyerton on 3320KHz for comparison. This period covers mutual sunrise.
I am continuing recording when the station is on, a few greyline peaks seem to be evident. Also RSG as a check.
