September 2009 Recordings of 5025KHz Radio Rebelde from Cuba at G4ZFQ IO90IR. These stations are readily identified, being strong enough for good audio. I have not ascertained the actual location of the transmitter of R. Rebelde, I am using Havana for the sun times, one source states the transmitter is near there. Now concentrating on North America I include CHU on 3330KHz, the time signal from Canada. Boston on 1510.02KHz is audible and easy to record. In the past I have seen little evidence of dusk/dawn enhancements from these areas.
There is a signal on 3330 that appears in the evening, presumably from the East, it fades well before CHU comes in. I regularly check the audio, Boston is not so easy to confirm by listening.
Now stopping 5025 and 3330KHz. A full year of recordings available, showing few
signs of any dusk/dawn enhancements. I continue 1510, similarly only showing a
few random peaks so far.
